Wraparound Care at Lowerhouses

Our wraparound care service provides a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for children before and after the school day. It supports busy families while giving children a positive, calm and enjoyable start or end to their day.

We offer two sessions:

• 🌞 Breakfast Club (before school)

• 🌇 After School Wraparound (after school)

Both sessions are run by experienced school staff who know our children well and create a warm, family‑style atmosphere.

🌞 Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is completely free for pupils in Reception Class through to Year 6. It is funded by the UK Government’s National School Breakfast Programme, and all food is kindly donated by the Huddersfield Town Foundation Trust.

We are also able to offer places at Breakfast Club to our Nursery children at a small cost - please enquire with the school office.

Children enjoy a relaxed, friendly start to the morning with a healthy breakfast and calm activities that help them settle into the school day.

What’s included:

• A healthy breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit)

• Quiet morning activities such as drawing, reading and games

• A smooth transition into class

Times:

• 8:00am until the start of school

Cost:

• Free for all pupils

🌇 After School Wraparound

Our after‑school wraparound care provides a safe and enjoyable space for children to relax, play and unwind after the school day.

What children can enjoy:

• Indoor and outdoor play

• Crafts, games and creative activities

• A quiet area for reading or homework

• A light snack

Times:

• 3:15pm – 4:30pm

Cost:

• £10 per session

🧾 Booking & Payments

All bookings are made through ParentPay, and places must be booked in advance so we can staff sessions safely.

• Bookings open half‑termly

• Spaces may be limited

• Payments for after‑school sessions are made at the time of booking
