This half term, our topic is β€œLong, Long Ago…” πŸ°πŸ“œWe will be travelling back through history, exploring Kings and Queens, and developing our skills across the curriculum. Below is an overview of everything we’ll be learning this term.

We will be reading the traditional story Rapunzel 🌿🏰.
Children will retell the story and then create their own versions by changing characters and settings ✍️✨.

This half term, we will also be focusing on:

  • Using a range of sentence openers
  • Applying different punctuation marks ❗❓
  • Using coordinating & subordinating conjunctions
  • Continuing to practise spelling and neat letter formation ✏️
