📚 What We’re Learning
📖 English
We will be reading the traditional story Rapunzel 🌿🏰.
Children will retell the story and then create their own versions by changing characters and settings ✍️✨.
This half term, we will also be focusing on:
- Using a range of sentence openers
- Applying different punctuation marks ❗❓
- Using coordinating & subordinating conjunctions
- Continuing to practise spelling and neat letter formation ✏️
🔤 Please continue practising weekly spellings at home — this makes a huge difference! 🌟
- 📚 Reading
- Daily reading is essential in Year 2 📘💛.
- Please read with your child each evening and sign their Reading Log.
- When children reach the bottom of a page, they earn a reading certificate 🎉.
- 📕 Little Wandle books must be returned every Monday morning.

In Maths we will be learning about:
